Jessica Medina graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She then graduated from the University of Houston Law Center where she obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence. While in law school, Ms. Medina interned at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Mexico City, Division of Family Law, where she worked on international family matters such as child abductions and retentions, adoptions, child support and visitation disputes. Other internship experience during law school included working in employment law and personal injury matters. After graduating, Ms. Medina began her practice by representing debtors in consumer bankruptcy. Ms. Medina’s current areas of concentration include first and third-party insurance defense, personal injury, premises liability and commercial litigation.
