Leland (Lee) Bertrand is a native Virginian beginning his legal career in Houston. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Following undergrad, he worked for a year at a general practice law firm in Lexington, VA, confirming his aspirations to become an attorney. He would go on to attend Tulane Law School.

Throughout Lee’s time in law school, he gained significant litigation experience by working with several pro bono organizations, including externing with the Louisiana Fair Housing Action Center. He additionally served as a Student Attorney in the Tulane Juvenile Law Clinic, where he represented children facing criminal charges in New Orleans. Lee was also extensively involved in the Sports Law Society. He was a Senior Managing Editor of the Sports Lawyers Journal and on the Executive Board for the Tulane Professional Basketball Negotiation Competition, the largest national competition of its kind. Lee’s practice with Ramey Chandler Quinn, P.C. primarily focuses on first and third-party insurance defense and personal injury matters.
